We are Devy & Caitlyn, workaholics that love escaping to a restful get-away, so we can enjoy each other, friends and of course nature. 

We love having an active life, but we love relaxing and chilling just as much ! Our preferred go-to is a low-tourist area. We love something a little edgy. Not the boring clean-cut 1 in a dozen places you can find anywhere. 
Because of our hectic and busy day to day life, we are always over the moon when we get to escape & recharge our batteries. We love animals, hiking, cycling, ... reading. But also we love good food ;-) 

At Vista Casterni, we offer you in the beautiful Cantal area, an escape from it all. Each Summer there are great adventures and experiences to have, for those who dare. Our holiday home is only rented from half May to end of September, and this when we aren't there ourselves !

Just imagine this : a typical Cantal barn, completely revamped to a charming and character holiday home, amidst of the lush green countryside. Here you can breathe clean fresh air, feel the grass under your feet, and let all tension just slide off you. For us holidays are all about enjoying everything to the core, and this in an original building which lots of quirky elements is the cherry on the cake.  

How it began : 

10 years ago the huge undertaking started of reforming an ancient Cantal cow barn into a holiday home ! Everything was renewed and added to the building with love of natural products and inkeping with the style. The gorgeous fireplace was one that was recuperated from an old castle building down the road and got a new lease of life in the barn. We were very lucky to have gotten the opportunity to make this our home away from home, and now we love sharing it with guests. Now also a  second home for you too.

What we offer inside and out :

• Gorgeous airy open plan living area with wood-burner, TV with satellite, reading material, cosy plaids, ...
• Functional kitchen : Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto, waterboiler, microwave oven, cooking hob, oven, cooking island, incl all dishes and glasses for up to 6 people, wood-burner.
• Downstairs floor : large WC with handbasin.
• Downstairs floor : Bedroom with double bed (King Size) storage space, shower in the room, electric heating.
• Up the stairs : Bathroom with handbasin, WC and bath.
• Up the stairs : Bedroom with double bed (Queen Size) en storage spare, electric heating.
• Basement : Firewood and all outdoor equipement, plenty of space for bicycles or motorbike safekeeping, washing machine.
• Garden with wide gate to park the car inside, safe garden fencing. 
• On high decking : parasol, garden funiture, BBQ, Pizza oven on pellets & sunbeds
• On lower terras : lounge seats with firepit and a Wellnez Atelier Hottub for 6 people.

We still have so many plans, as with every visit we get new ideas ;-)
